Our Surrendered Lives Ministries

Blessing the staff & kids — $2,000 goal

Join Grace NM in sending a Christmas blessing to our friends and partners at Our Surrendered Lives Ministries in Borjas, Mexico! This will help bless the staff members at OSLM, and buy Christmas presents for the children.
A message from Renay (OSLM Director)
Every year we have to come up with Christmas bonuses that are mandatory for all workers in Mexico if you have been on your job through Christmas for a year. Most companies will close down, lay off, or rehire in January. It stinks and screws the workers, but most people need those jobs, so they just deal with it. It is a requirement that we give our workers 2-weeks of pay for their bonuses. In the past this has been difficult for us to do. I suggested to my husband that there are people who’d be willing to help if only we’d ask. This year he finally agreed!

Our average worker makes $120 a week. They work 6 days a week, 9 hours a day. There have been times when we could not even meet our weekly budget for payroll and our workers still showed up. They are amazing people who are truly dedicated to helping Memo and me raise these children. This might cover why we are looking for sponsors for our workers. Their dedication is humbling to say the least. Anything you could help us with would be appreciated. The stress of meeting these bonuses could give Memo a chance to take a deep breath and relax a little this Christmas.

Thank you, God bless.
